Excused absences include illness/injury, major family events (i.e., funeral, wedding, etc.), and school functions (i.e., open house). Family vacations are considered unexcused.
The level of participation in practice required of the cheerleaders, in order to be eligible for game-day play, should be defined by each individual Unit.
Competition - Cheerleaders shall be excluded from Cheerfest for missing five (5) or more practices during the cheer season, or at the Unit's discretion.
Your team's unit director will determine if absences are excused or unexcused.
