Welcome New Families!

Step 1

Create a SportsEngine account if you haven't already.

Step 2

Add additional e-mail addresses to your family's SportsEngine account.

On account settings screen, click on add email address button at top right of screen. Follow instructions on screen. Additional e-mail addresses will appear under secondary email on account settings screen. You can add as many e-mail addresses as you would like.

Guardians

Family members of an athlete can be added as Guardians to view the team schedule, RSVP to games and events, message team members, and edit the athlete's profile.

To add another parent as a guardian:

1. Go to your account profiles page and log in.
2. Select your child's profile.
3. Find the Guardians box and click +.
4. Enter the email address of the new guardian.
5. Select the athlete profiles that the guardian should be able to manage.
6. Step 6: Click Send Invitation.

Step 3

Select the appropriate link below to register your new player or cheerleader.

Parents of new football players and cheerleaders are registering for a “place in line” for a team/unit. Teams/units are filled on a first come, first served basis. If a spot on a team/unit is available, the Registrar will notify you via e-mail and provide further instructions on how to complete the registration process. If a spot on a team/unit is not available, your child will be placed on the waitlist. You will be notified of your waitlist number.

Step 4

Once registration is complete, click on the "Block N" at the top left of the screen next to your username.

You will be directed back to the NYFA home page when you click on the "Block N".
