Northville Youth Football Association

2011 marked the first year of the "Battle for the Shoe".  This award is presented to the winner of the last regular season game between the cross-town rivals, the Colts and Stallions.  Regardless of records, the boys play their hearts out to win bragging rights.

The 2017 Battle for the Shoe Game was played at “The Big House”, Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.

The 2018 Battle for the Shoe Game was played at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions.

The 2021 Battle for the Shoe Game was played at “The Big House”, Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.

The 2022 Battle for the Shoe Game was played at Rynearson Stadium at Eastern Michigan University.

The 2023 Battle for the Shoe Game was played at “The Big House”, Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.

The 2024 Battle for the Shoe Game was played at Rynearson Stadium at Eastern Michigin University.

The 2025 Battle was played at Rynearson Stadium at Eastern Michigan University between the Broncos & Colts and Stallions & Novi Bobcats.
