September 30, 2018: Eagles (0) at Stallions (44)

The Northville Stallion freshman team treated the homecoming crowd to an offensive and defensive clinic, routing the Livonia Eagles 44-0 at Tom Holzer Field in Northville.

The Orange Crush squad opened with solid defense, capped off by a 4-yd TD run by Brody Domeracki. The strong energy from the crush squad carried over into the start of the freshman game, with Ryan Jaafer scored on an 18-yd rushing touchdown, and then throwing a 51-yd TD to Zach Slagle for an early 13-0 lead.

In the 2nd quarter, Ryan Schuckel powered his way to a 39-yd TD run, quickly followed by a 4-yd TD run by  Andrew Shukeireh. The defense also contributed to the gaudy halftime score of 31-0, with Nick Lundberg taking a pick-six to the house in the waning moments of the 2nd quarter.

The 2nd half wasn't any better for the Eagles, with Colin Richardson piling on with a 1-yd TD run. Finally, Zach Slagle put the exclamation point on the rout with a spin-move on the way to an 18-yd TD run for a final score of 44-0.

The Stallion defense dominated throughout the game, frequently pushing the Eagles offense backward holding the Eagles offense to negative net yardage.

The freshman team will face the Livonia Orioles in their next contest.
