The Northville Stallions continued their successful start to the 2018 season at Tom Holzer Ford Field on Sunday, with a comprehensive victory over the Livonia Falcons, 25-6.

Northville’s offense led the charge early through a series of successful onside kicks that were converted into touchdowns by a committed running attack in the first half. Backed by a relentless defense, the Stallions kept the Falcons to negative yardage throughout the first half and off the scoreboard at halftime, leading 18-0.

The second half continued much the same as the first, with the Stallions opening their offense playbook through the air and on the ground. The defense continued to shine, preventing the Falcon’s offense from gaining any momentum throughout the game.

Black, Purple, White and Crush teams for the Stallions all dominated their individual positions, maintaining pressure on both sides of the ball and keeping the Falcons in negative yardage despite the exhausting heat conditions. Late in the 4th quarter, the Falcons ran in a touchdown as the clock wound down, but it was too late, with the Stallions recording a decisive victory and maintaining their undefeated record entering into Week 4 against the Commerce Chargers.
