October 8, 2017: Stallions (46) at Bobcats (32)

The Northville Stallions scored early and often on their way to a 46-32 victory over the Novi Bobcats. The Stallions scored on every offensive series today, with a mixture of long runs, quick speed, timely blocking and an air assault from the Stallion quarterbacks. The Stallions set the tone early with a 7 minute drive, ending in a Brody Domeracki TD run, and 2-pt conversion from Drew Meussner to Brody Domeracki. After a quick Bobcat score, Kaden Mach was off to the races scoring on a 55-yard TD run to give the Stallions a 15-7 lead. After another quick Bobcat score, Colin Richardson took the kick-off to the house for a 21-13 lead. The defense clamped down, with key flags by Adam Bandilla and Noah Shields. Zac Slagle scored late in the first half, followed up by an Erik Brown extra point to take a 28-13 lead into halftime.

The defense stopped the Bobcats on their 1st drive of the 2nd half, and Adam Bandilla, behind a key block by Charlie Stoops, could not be caught on a long 60 yard TD run to put the Stallions up 34-13. The Stallions never let up in the 2nd half. Drew Meussner had a 25-yd TD pass to Brody Domeracki, and Jacob Webber put the exclamation point on a big victory with a 55-yd TD run. The Stallions enjoyed their biggest win of the year, 46-32 and look to ride the momentum into the Battle for the Shoe against the Colts at the Big House.
