The Freshman Stallions continue their winning streak with a 32 to 6 win against the Livonia Blue Jays on Sunday September 10, 2017. In the first quarter, #25 Austin McGarrow had a strong run into the end zone for a touchdown to put the Stallions on the scoreboard. The Stallions defense continued to dominate the game with numerous tackles to stop the Blue Jays from scoring. Again, Austin McGarrow ran the ball into the end zone to make the score 12 to 0, Stallions. The extra point was scored and the score at the half was 13 to 0.

Early in the 3rd quarter, the orange crush team came out strong. The ball was given to #10 Jurek Nowakowski and he ran the ball into the end zone for the touchdown, bringing the score to 19 to 0. Strong defense continued to stop the Blue Jays play after play. Many times a herd of Stallions stopped the Blue Jays. Early in the 4th quarter, #4 Justin Minard scored for the Stallions to make the score 25 to 0. But shortly after, the Stallions let up their first 6 points of the season with a touchdown from the Blue Jays. The one touchdown did not slow the boys down though. With one minute left in the game, #14 quarterback Nic Slagle ran the ball into the end zone for a score of 31 to 6. The extra point was good bringing the final score to 32 to 6!

Awesome effort by all of the Freshman Stallions! The Stallions will look to keep their winning streak on Saturday in a home game against the Commerce Chargers.
