The Stallions faced off against the Livonia Orioles in the semi-finals. The Stallions started off with a great defensive stop, holding the Orioles to nothing on the first drive. The Stallions then drove down the field and Ryan Spadafora scored on a 13-yard touchdown run to give the Stallions the early lead 6-0. The PAT was no good.

The Stallions’ defense was stout again as they held the Orioles to another short drive ending in an interception by Ryan Spadafora, and a fourth down stop.

On the next drive, the Orioles intercepted the ball but again could go nowhere due to the stout Defense of the Stallions. Then Stallions’ own, Jack Beresford intercepted the ball and ran it back to the 41-yard line. The score was still 6-0 at the half.

Rylan Brown had a great TD run for the development squad to keep the momentum going!

Stallions received the kick-off and marched down the field with a nice catch and run by Ashtyn Kersey. The drive stalled at the 1-yard line. The defense caused the Orioles to take a safety in their own end zone for an 8-0 score.

On the next possession, the Stallions scored on a 39-yard touchdown reception from Liam Crowe to Ryan Spadafora. The PAT was good making the score 16-0. Another solid defensive stand, led by the defense line of Braden Toomey, Ben Lukasik, Liam Zarotney, and Mitch Lozo put pressure on and stopped the Orioles’ offense.

On the next possession, the Stallions quickly scored on a 23-yard touchdown run by Ryan Spadafora behind his offensive line, bringing the score to 22-0. The PAT was no good.

On the following drive, the stingy Stallions defense held up again, and Rylan Brown intercepted a pass and took it 37 yards for another Stallions touchdown. The PAT was no good, but the game ended in the Stallions’ favor with a final score of 28-0.

On to the face the Northville Colts in the Super Bowl next weekend!
