The Stallions came out strong at the Garden City Cougars field when on the first play of the game for the Development squad, Jack Blazo intercepted the ball and ran it 45 yards for a touchdown. The Development defense held the Cougars to zero points.

Next up, the Stallions’ Ben Lukasik blocked the punt and we took over on offense. The Stallions immediately scored with Liam Crowe connecting with Lucas Stefani on an 18-yard touchdown. On the next series, Lucas Stefani intercepted the ball and ran it down to the 1-yard line. The Stallions failed to punch it in due to a fumble.

On the next possession, Jack Beresford scored on a 13-yard swing pass from Liam Crow. Ryan Spadafora converted the kick and the Stallions went up 14-0. The Cougars were no match for the Stallions’ defense and did not put up any points.

On the next series, Liam Crowe delivered a throw into a tight window and Owen Hoff made a great catch for another Stallions touchdown to make the score 20-0. The Cougars responded by getting on the board with a touchdown making the score 20-6 going into halftime.

In the very first play of the second half, Jack Beresford took the handoff, reversed the field, and went 39 yards for a Stallions touchdown. Ryan Spadafora added two points with a textbook kick, making the score 28-6.

The Stallions' suffocating defense came into play once again when the Cougars quarterback threw an interception to Ashtyn Kersey who ran it 45-yards for another Stallions touchdown. Final score 34-6.
