he season opener between the Northville Colts Flag and the Garden City Cougars Flag, the Colts emerged victorious with a final score of 33-12. The game was characterized by intense action and numerous notable plays. The Colts set the tone early with #22 Austin Medvecky scoring the first touchdown. Cougars first possession was stopped quickly by the Colts solid defense. Finn Gallagher’s impressive run paved the way for another touchdown ran in by #11 Enzo McCormick, followed by Bennett's successful catch for 2 extra points. The Colts showcased strong defense with flag pulls by Jacob Stanley, Austin Medvecky, and Bennett Chandler. The quarter concluded with the Colts leading 15-0. 

In the second quarter #10 Hadi Hamza secured a touchdown for the Colts, but the extra point attempt was unsuccessful. The Colts defense remained solid, highlighted by Keegan Dewey and Medvecky’s efforts leading to a turnover on downs, allowing Northville to take over. Dewey's touchdown further extended the Colts' lead, but the extra point was missed. The halftime score stood at 27-0 in favor of the Colts.  

Second half, the Cougars play all time offense until they are able to score.  Garden City started the second half strong, scoring a touchdown, though the extra point was stopped by Chandler. Thatcher Arvila with a great run down the field stopped by Garden City.  Connor Williams passes to Enzo for another touchdown. Unfortunately, the extra point pass was intercepted by Garden City. Thatcher had a great quarter defensively stopping the Cougars over and over again. Williams with the tackle to end the quarter with a score of 33-6, Colts still in the lead. The Cougars managed to score another touchdown, narrowing the gap to 33-12. Keegan's tackle and a collective effort from the Colts defense halted further progress. Colt’s Roman Katty gets the ball and runs it down the field just shy of a touchdown.  The Colts' Benjamin Elliot, Roman Katty and Enzo McCormick led the team defensively with six tackles each. The game concluded with a final score of 33-12, with the Colts securing the victory. In summary, the Northville Colts displayed a strong offensive and defensive performance, ultimately clinching a well-deserved win against the Garden City Cougars.
