“Let’s go Stallions, it’s time to score!”

“Let’s go fans, it’s time to roar!”

Roar, we did as we cheered the Freshmen Stallion Cheer squad to a first-place finish for their cheer routine.  All other team fates were sealed as soon as our freshmen cheer took the floor chanting N-O-R, N-O-R, N-O-R-TH, V-I-L, V-I-L, V-I-L-L-E.  These athletes were crisp and clean in their cheer and flawlessly executed their right and left side splits, toe touch, and herkie. 

Our freshmen cheer wasn’t finished dominating the competition.  They performed their pom routine to “Wings” by Little Mix.  As lyrics go, “Spread your wings, my little butterfly,” our butterflies took flight with a rousing performance that celebrates female strength and empowerment.  We now celebrate them and all their accomplishments with a strong second-place finish for pom. 

Congrats to our Freshmen cheerleaders for continuing their win streak!  Hats off and a big thank you to Coach Julie Holbrook and Coach Katie Clow for continually striving for excellence and allowing our girls to be their best selves.
