The Freshman Stallions team had a stellar showing as they faced off against the Novi Bobcats on Sunday.

The team came out hot, scoring four touchdowns in the 1st quarter! The Stallions scored on their first drive of the game with a touchdown by Blaise Pewinski, and a successful extra point attempt by quarterback Liam Crow. After a four-and-out possession by the Bobcats, Ashton “Krazy Legs” Kersey flew down the field 40+ yards for a Stallions touchdown. Capitalizing on the momentum, Lucas Stefani and Braden Toomey closed out the first quarter with two additional touchdowns following a massive sack by Ryan Spadafora.

The team continued their strong showing to kick off the 2nd quarter with an onside kick recovery by Alex Zorzi. After a few turnovers on downs for both the Stallions and Bobcats, the Novi Bobcats scored their only points in the game on a safety as the Stallions were attempting to charge down the field from their own 9-yard line.

The players took the field again ready to secure the win following an entertaining halftime show by the Stallions cheerleaders. Zorzi came out strong in the developmental game with a massive 53 yard run for a touchdown. After a strong defensive showing by the Stallions including a huge sack by Ethan Sparks and Zach Shoucair and an interception by Owen LaVaute, Zorzi was able to find Toomey down the field for another Stallions touchdown. The Stallions continued to dominate in the 4th quarter as Zorzi connected with Rylan Brown for the final touchdown of the game, ending with a final score of 37-2.

Congratulations to the Stallions for ending the regular season 7-0!
