Stallions Freshman defeat the Redford Eagles

On a beautiful Saturday morning, the Northville Stallions charged to a dominant victory over the Redford Eagles, with the final score of Northville 32 and the Eagles 0.

The Stallions hallmark defense shone throughout the game, leading to their second shutout this year. Led by their defensive line, Northville spent much of the afternoon in Redford’s backfield. The Stallions were able to recover four fumbles by the Eagles, converting two of them into quick touchdowns.

On the offensive side of the football, Northville got out of the gates quickly, scoring four touchdowns on the ground in the first half. The onslaught began with a four-yard touchdown run by Blaze Powinski.

Lightning struck again with a 37-yard touchdown run by Ashton “Crazy Legs” Kersey. Not to be outdone, Liam “Lights Out” Crowe got in on the action with a four-yard touchdown run. The scoring in the first half was capped off by a touchdown run by Alex Zorzi.

The defense continued to dominate in the second half, enabling the Stallions offense to find the endzone again with an 18-yard run to the left by Ryan Brown.

The Stallions will hit the road to face the Dearborn Thunderbirds this Saturday at 11 a.m.
