The Freshman Stallions played their first road game of the season on Sunday, traveling to Bentley field to take on the host Livonia Orioles.

The Stallions kicked off to start the game and immediately took over possession when Blaise Pewinski recovered the opening kickoff. The Stallions were fast to take advantage, scoring early with a touchdown run from Liam Crowe. On the next possession, the Stallions defense held strong to force a turnover on downs. The Stallions added to the scoreboard with another touchdown run, this time from Lucas Stefani. Another turnover on downs and another touchdown run from Liam Crowe left the Stallions up 19-0 at the end of the first quarter.

The Stallions held strong on defense in the second quarter, including a takeaway by Kyle Douglas on an interception. The Freshman team was able to add to the scoreboard with a touchdown run from Alexander Zorzi. The Stallions took a 25-0 lead into halftime.

The Crush line opened the second half and continued to build the momentum. Alexander Zorzi ran another touchdown and the defense held strong by taking the ball away on a forced fumble. The defense held throughout the third quarter to keep the Orioles off the scoreboard.

The Orioles were finally able to break onto the scoreboard early in the fourth quarter, scoring a pair of touchdowns to bring the score to 25-12. The Stallions worked the clock and drove the ball down the field to close out the game. Ashtyn Kersey scored on a long touchdown run, only to have it called back on a penalty. Kersey followed with another long run, finally being brought down by the Orioles at the 1-yard line as the clock expired. The Stallions came out on top with a final score of 25-0.

The Stallions Freshman landed another big win today. They will take their 2-0 record back to Tom Holzer Ford Field next weekend to take on the Redford Eagles. Go Stallions!
