The Stallions wrapped up the 2019 home games on Saturday with the Homecoming Game against the Commerce Chargers. Players, family, and friends celebrated Homecoming with pre-game family photos and the sidelines were decorated with posters of the players and cheer team.

The Stallions defense held the Chargers scoreless in the first quarter, with great tackles from Drew Meussner and Evan Clow. On offense, Drew Meussner, Erik Brown, and Colin Richardson contributed good runs and gained a first down but were unable to reach the end zone. The Chargers were the first to score in the second quarter to take a 7-0 lead. The Stallions returned the kickoff and followed it with a good run from Louis Green. However, the Stallions were unable to move the chains and turned the ball back over to the Chargers on downs. The defense held strong with a great tackle by Adam Bandilla followed by a sack from Daniel Stelea to hold the Chargers to a 7-0 lead heading into halftime.

In the second half, the Stallions defense gave the offense a great opportunity with a tackle from Drew Meussner and a fumble recovery by Adam Bandilla. The offense fought hard with good runs from Drew Meussner, Erik Brown, Louis Green, and Colin Richardson. Unfortunately, the Stallions stalled out before reaching the end zone and the Chargers were able to grind out the clock. In the end, the Stallions lost to the Chargers with a final score of 7-0.

The Stallions will now go on the road for the next three games in Livonia to finish the 2019 season, starting next week with the Livonia Eagles. Go Stallions!
