2019 is a rebuilding year for the Northville Freshmen Stallions who opened the season against the Livonia Blue Jays.

A challenging first half, that included two Northville fumbles and 13 points for Livonia, gave the Stallions coaching staff an opportunity to reset the team at halftime.

The young stallions shook off multiple 1st half penalties to show late life, including a penalty free 4th quarter. The Stallions responded with a stronger second half highlighted by Drew Meussner recovering two fumbles and the defense putting the Stallions on the board with a safety by Louis Green in the 3rd quarter. Unfortunately the Stallions still fell short with a final score of 19-2.

The Stallions look ahead to Week 2 against the Walled Lake Braves September 15th.
