The Northville Youth Football Association (NYFA) is a non-profit organization in Northville, Michigan committed to teaching the fundamentals of football and cheerleading in a positive, safe and FUN environment. Players and cheerleaders learn the value of hard work, teamwork and sportsmanship and are given the opportunity to improve their skills throughout the season. NYFA emphasizes the importance of academics and expects our players and cheerleaders to do their very best in school. NYFA also promotes community involvement by supporting the Northville community. NYFA is a 100% volunteer run organization that offers numerous opportunities for parents to get involved.
NYFA consists of two teams, Colts and Stallions. Players and cheerleaders districted to Hillside Middle School are assigned to the Colts. Players and cheerleaders districted to Meads Mill Middle School are assigned to the Stallions. Each team has four units: Flag (6 and 7 year olds), Freshman (8 and 9 year olds), JV (10 and 11 year olds) and Varisty (12 and 13 year olds).
The Colts and Stallions are members of the Southeast Michigan Youth Football Association league.
